Prohibition of acquisition of Talpa Network by RTL Group (final notification)
On March 3, 2023, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) decided not to grant RTL Group S.A. a license to acquire Talpa Network B.V. The acquisition would have had a negative effect on competition.
Responding to ACM’s decision
If you have an interest (legal standing) in this decision, you may submit an official response within six weeks. This time limit of six weeks begins the day on which both undertakings have been informed about ACM’s decision. You can submit a response by sending a letter to the District Court of Rotterdam (in Dutch: Rechtbank Rotterdam), in which you explain why your interests are harmed by this decision.
