ACM’s response to the European Commission’s proposals regarding sustainability initiatives
With this letter, ACM responds to the public consultation of the draft Guidelines on the application of the derogation from Article 101 TFEU for sustainability agreements of agricultural producers pursuant to Article 210a of Regulation 1308/2013 (“CMO”) of the European Commission.
Article 210a CMO offers opportunities for sustainability initiatives among agricultural producers themselves, as well as between agricultural producers and other market participants on other levels of production, processing, and trade within the food supply chain.
ACM welcomes and supports the proposed draft version, and provides several suggestions.
