With this letter, ACM responds to the public consultation of the proposed amendments to the Informal Guidance Notice of the European Commission. In its response, ACM emphasizes the value of and need for providing informal guidance when it comes to sustainability initiatives. ACM has already gained considerable experience with this, particularly after the publication of its draft Guidelines on Sustainability Agreements. Among other things, ACM calls upon the European Commission to make the conditions for the provision of informal guidance less rigid so that sustainability collaborations can get off the ground more quickly and easily.
