Registration of number users with dispute resolution board
The new legislation came into effect on July 1, 2009. OPTA wishes to inform number holders (in their capacity as number holders) of the new legal obligation of certain number users to register with the Dispute Resolution Committee for Information Service Providers (in Dutch: Geschillencommissie Informatiedienstaanbieders). Number holders have a statutory duty to make sure they know their number users, and that the latter comply with the law.
