OPTA: Focus on 2009

In Focus on 2009 OPTA publishes today what it will do tomorrow to safeguard consumer protection and competition in the communications markets. This edition of Focus is a follow-up to the 2008 Vision.

The scenarios still serve as a basis for OPTA’s interventions in the electronic communications and postal markets. OPTA therefore has decided not to publish an outlook this year but rather this edition of Focus to indicate what topics it will focus on as part of its regulatory work in 2009. These topics are not only relevant to market participants that are subject to OPTA’s regulation but also to the Dutch business sector and consumers.
