It is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of

Prof. Jens Arnbak

As the first Chairman of the Commission of the Netherlands Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority (OPTA), Jens made a tremendous contribution to the development of the postal services and telecommunication markets in the Netherlands.

Jens had his own unique style, combining substantive integrity and a keen vision. This allowed him to shape OPTA in a warm and people-oriented manner.
