Decision on 2017 correction factor for early-retirement schemes for maritime pilots
The Dutch maritime pilots’ association (in Dutch: Loodswezen) has accumulated sufficient financial reserves to meet future payments from the early-retirement schemes. It is therefore no longer necessary to accumulate additional reserves.
About future retirement payments
In the past, schemes were in place regarding job-related early dismissal (FLO) for maritime staff of the Loodswezen B.V., and regarding job-related early retirement (FLP) for the registered pilots. These schemes have been abolished, but future payments are still paid from these former schemes.
