ACM conference Impact Assessment 2016: presentation Schwarz
The Netherlands Authority for Consumers & Markets (ACM) organised a conference on “Impact Assessment of Interventions of Competition and Consumer Authorities”, to pay tribute to the ten-year anniversary of the ACM’s (former NMa’s) Chief Economist Office. The conference took place in Amsterdam on November 16, 2016.
This document is the presentation of Anton Schwarz (RTR) from the session “Telecom and Energy Regulation”. Anton Schwarz discusses the ex-post analysis of two different merger between mobile operators that took place in Austria in 2006 and 2013.The first was a 5 to 4 merger and the second a 4 to 3 merger. Both mergers were cleared with remedies.
