ACM Board Member Anita Vegter to become Director General at the Ministry of Security and Justice
Member of the Board of ACM Anita Vegter is to become the new Director General for the Administration of Justice and Law Enforcement at the Ministry of Security and Justice. The Council of Ministers today decided to nominate Ms. Vegter for this position at the proposal of Minister of Security and Justice, Ard van der Steur, and Minister for Housing and the Central Government Sector, Stef Blok. The appointment will take effect on September 1, 2016.
Since April 2013, Anita Vegter (1965) together with Henk Don and Chris Fonteijn formed the Board of ACM. Within ACM, her portfolio included consumer protection, legal affairs, and corporate services.
The Ministry of Security and Justice is to be congratulated on the appointment of such an excellent Director General. We will miss Anita’s managerial and substantive expertise, and we will especially miss her dedication and commitment!
