ACM to host the 26th plenary meeting of European telecom regulators
BEREC, the European body of telecommunication regulators, will hold its 26th plenary meeting from February 24 through February 26 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. The Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) represents the Netherlands in BEREC, and is, as such, also the host of this upcoming meeting. Approximately 120 representatives from over thirty countries will take part in discussions about, among other topics, the new rules concerning net neutrality and roaming, which will come into force on April 30, 2016.
ACM within BEREC
Since January 1, 2016, Henk Don, Member of the Board of ACM, has been one of the four vice-chairs of BEREC and of the Independent Regulators Group - Telecom. BEREC is currently working on net neutrality guidelines, and it is preparing a proposal for reforming the framework of telecommunication consumer rights.
