ACM announces the appointment of Freek Keppels as director of the Policy and Communications Department
The Board of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) is pleased to announce the appointment of Freek Keppels as director of the Policy and Communications Department. He will succeed Dirk Janssen, who was recently appointed as ambassador to Panama.
Mr. Keppels studied econometrics and business administration at the University of Groningen. Since 1994, he has held several positions within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Finance. He is currently the Head of Market Behavior and Securities in the Financial Markets Department of the Ministry of Finance. Mr. Keppels will start his new position in mid-August. Approximately 20 employees work in ACM’s Policy and Communications Department.
