ACM confirms dawn raids at Dutch Railways NS and its subsidiaries QBuzz/Abellio

Last week, the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) conducted dawn raids at Dutch Railways NS, including its subsidiaries QBuzz/Abellio. These dawn raids were carried out as part of the investigation into possible abuse of dominance and into possible other violations of the Dutch Railway Act by NS and its subsidiaries in the European tender process for the public-transport contract in the southern Dutch province of Limburg.
