Vision document on Competition and Sustainability
In its Vision document on Competition and Sustainability, ACM explains to what degree sustainability initiatives of businesses are compatible with competition law. ACM shows what room there is for collaboration initiatives with regard to sustainability. The cartel prohibition does not apply if the competitive process is not significantly impeded or if sustainable production offers consumers benefits. This will be explored in further detail in this vision document. Examples will be discussed that illustrate the theory.
This vision document on competition and sustainability was put out for consultation in 2013. The comments to this consultation have been incorporated into this final version as much as possible.
