Market participants invited to submit input for 2016 Rail Monitor

Every two years, ACM publishes a monitor about trends and developments in the Dutch rail sector. This year’s edition of the Rail Monitor will give an up-to-date overview of the rail market and of the quality of the services that are offered on it. ACM is planning to release the 2016 Rail Monitor this fall.

In order to get an accurate and up-to-date picture of the rail market, ACM calls on all active market participants in this sector to fill out a digital questionnaire. ACM would greatly appreciate it if market participants took the time to cooperate with this monitor. It enables ACM to gain insight into the most critical bottlenecks in the rail market.

If you have not received a digital questionnaire

Is your company or organization active in the Dutch rail market, or is it involved in the rail market in any other way, and you have not yet received an email from ACM about the upcoming Rail Monitor? Please contact ACM by sending an email: Spoormonitor [at] acm [punt] nl. You will then receive a link to the digital questionnaire as soon as possible.

About the Rail Monitor

With the 2016 Rail Monitor, ACM wishes to present a picture of the experiences of railway network users (such as rail undertakings, freighters, maintenance firms, and rail contractors) and other stakeholders (such as trade associations, passenger rights organizations, and governments). Based on the findings, ACM is able to identify potential bottlenecks that market participants face when entering the rail market, using rail capacity or taking out rail-related services. The Rail Monitor enables ACM to prioritize better.
