Establishment Act of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets

The Netherlands Consumer Authority, the Netherlands Competition Authority (NMa) and the Netherlands Independent Post and Telecommunications Authority (OPTA) joined forces on April 1st 2013, creating a new regulator: the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets. The Establishment Act of the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets was amended on August 1, 2014. As a result of this amendment, the powers of the three regulators that merged into ACM have been streamlined.
